During my ascent of Ama Dablam, I had a chance to get to know Shangrila Home briefly. This also made me want to highlight their beautiful project with my expedition. So their event Shangrila Home Acoustics last Saturday was the perfect opportunity for me to get to know them briefly in person.
They really had the weather with them, which made it a very enjoyable festival. Good music, tasty chips and pleasant company made me get a very good impression of the organisation. Great people with their hearts in the right place. I also got to meet Wim De Becker, the man currently running the project. He will be present in Nepal when I am there, so I hope to have the chance to meet up there to see the new location. But that will depend a bit on how the expedition goes.

At the moment, I have already managed to raise 655 euros for this beautiful project, yet I sincerely hope that this may become much more.
